New studios for local dance school

ActiveDance was established two and a half years ago. Three friends from Bury, Laura Moore, Nicola Gaskell and Hayley Milligan, started up dance classes in various church halls and community centres in the Bury area, as well as offering after school clubs in several local schools. The classes became so popular that ActiveDance decided to move to their own premises to enable them to continue offering the best levels of service to their pupils.

The new studios are located on Bolholt Industrial Estate, Walshaw Rd, Bury. They house 2 large dance studios with sprung floor, mirrors, air conditioning, disco lights for parties, and state of the art sound systems. There will also be a dancewear shop, as well as a welcoming reception area/waiting room.

In addition to the Elton studios ActiveDance have also taken over the running of Spirals dance centre on Turks Rd, Radcliffe. Spirals has been long established and Laura was a teacher here for 6 years and she along with Nicola and Hayley have now taken over the reigns and have renovated the studios over the summer to create an additional studio and new waiting and reception area.

Joining Laura, Hayley and Nicola, will be an experienced team of teachers. ActiveDance will be offering classes in many different styles for all ages including Street, Freestyle, Hip Hop, Ballet, Tap, Ballroom and Latin, Cheerleading and Lyrical as well as some fitness classes.
