On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit Production and Operational Technician to join their team in Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a thriving business who can offer genuine development opportunities.
Overview
This is an entry level position into the companies operational management team for qualified operational, technical, textile or engineering based applicants, and provide the appropriate skills and experience to progress within the business and eventually to a management level role within operations or new product development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Basic computer aided design
• Process control and continual improvement of operations
• NPI, (new product introduction.)
• Database Management and document control..
• Develop Operating Plans
• Work with Operations Management Team
• Conduct machinery optimisation
• Develop Loading Charts / Capacity plans and production scheduling.
Periodic progress reviews between the post holder and senior management will be scheduled and held to ensure the post holder is developing and demonstrating skills in methods, measurement, planning and operations follow-up.
Minimum Requirements / Knowledge / Skills
• Ability to communicate plans and information in a concise and effective manner, in both verbal and written form
• Basic understanding of CAD, (Autocad, or Inventor preferred)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently.
Minimum Education Requirements / Certification / Licensure For Industrial Engineering:
• Equivalent of Bachelor's Degree in: Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Textile Technologies, Product design or other related engineering field.
